How it works
Strict ISO dates are represented in UTC. The selected interval is counted by complete weeks plus remaining days, with Saturday and Sunday classified as weekends. Each unique, valid holiday inside the active interval subtracts one business day only when it falls Monday through Friday.
Know before using
Limits and edge cases
- Weekends are fixed to Saturday and Sunday, and no national, regional, religious, or company holiday calendar is loaded automatically.
- The start must be on or before the end. Holiday entries must be valid YYYY-MM-DD dates; weekend holidays are ignored rather than moved to an observed weekday.

Exact duplicate date strings are deduplicated, so a valid weekday holiday is subtracted at most once.
