What to expect

How it works

The selected local wall time is resolved to one UTC instant with the browser's Intl time-zone data. That instant is formatted separately in each IANA zone, allowing daylight-saving rules and date changes to be applied per location.

Know before using

Limits and edge cases

  • The selector offers 15 zones and exactly three comparison slots. Its future and historical results depend on the time-zone database shipped with the current browser or operating system.
  • A nonexistent spring-forward time is rejected, but an ambiguous fall-back time has no earlier/later disambiguation control and may resolve to only one occurrence.
