How it works
The document is parsed by PDF.js, whose worker is loaded from this application's own bundle rather than a third-party CDN. Each selected page is drawn to a canvas at the chosen scale and exported in the chosen format. Pages render one at a time: rendering them all at once would peak memory at the sum of every page instead of the largest single one, which is what fails on phones.

- The number of pages rendered in one run is capped, because each finished page is held in memory until export.
